Sara’s early career was built in Chicago and New York City, and her career path spans both marketing and sales. Now in Kansas City, and the co-founder of Tasty Branding, she’s excited to share a few interesting insights she’s gained over the past 20 years. Her previous professional experience includes delivering marketing strategies and programs for brands such as Pepsi International, Mastercard, Discover, Google Fiber, Southern Comfort and the family of brands for Diageo (think Captain Morgan and Jose Cuervo), and Constellation Wines (think Kim Crawford and Meiomi).
Over the past few years, Sara has realized her north star is to help people, both individuals and small businesses alike. She’s learned that teamwork is key, but when it comes to your career, you have to be your own advocate. As a leader, she thrives on elevating people to the next level, and understands the importance of motivating teams to produce work that exceeds expectations.
Prior to Tasty Branding, Sara also founded SJ Sullivan LLC, was the VP of Client Engagement for Bernstein-Rein Advertising, Senior Account Manager for VML, and Regional Director/Account Supervisor for MKTG. Sara is currently the President of AAF-KC (American Advertising Federation), a certified Stott Pilates instructor, and wine enthusiast. She balances her time between Pilates, marketing, traveling with her husband, drinking wine with her girlfriends, and being Aunt Rara to her nieces and nephews.

Kelly Ludwig is the Creative Director of Design at DEG, a trusted digital marketing partner to national and global brands.
Passionate about design thinking, Kelly’s role as the Creative Director of Design is tactical, strategic, and creative as she oversees creative projects, manages the creative team’s workflow and resourcing, and assists in creative ideas, the DEG brand, and new-business opportunities.
Kelly brings many years of award-winning design experience to her role, specializing in branding and identity programs, UX design, photography, marketing and promotional materials, design for WordPress and Squarespace, and design consultation. Kelly has utilized this expertise for clients such as the American Cancer Society, H&R Block, Hershey’s, Renewal by Anderson, Hallmark, and Andrews McMeel to name a few.
Her work has been recognized in publications and at award shows both locally and nationally, including at the Print Regional Design Annuals, Rx Club of New York, Society of Illustrators, American Advertising Federation (AAF) Addys, Omni Awards, and Kansas City Art Directors.
A mainstay in the Kansas City design community, Kelly is the President-elect of AIGA-KC and is involved in AAF-Kansas City. She is also the former program head of the Graphic Design department at the Kansas City Art Institute.
Kelly received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Kansas. Away from the office, Kelly takes her creative talents on the road, collecting art, taking pictures, and traveling the country. She has developed two travel apps—Best Road Trip Ever and Road Trip 66—authored a book on folk art throughout the country, and has had her photographs featured in museums around the world.
