About the Event

The pandemic forever changed what it means to "go to work." Now most of us work remotely or in a hybrid environment. We went from in-person meetings all the time to mostly video calls and maybe just in the last year started having face-to-face meetings again. That means our "small talk" muscles have atrophied and if you don't use it you'll lose it.

Small talk is an art form and it's important to building relationships with co-workers and new business prospects. It helps build trust and loyalty with clients and customers. It creates a better work environment by fueling our basic need of belonging and recognition. When you work with people who you like, your work product is better and you feel more fulfilled. Small talk helps with all of that and more!

But how do you build those small talk skills? How do you build business relationships and improve client connections in this new way of working? Can understanding your work style and your clients and customers personalities improve your business relationships? Regardless of your business or industry, most of the issues you and your team must address on a daily basis involve the attitudes, motivations, decisions, and actions of people.

Our panel of experts will explore this topic and more and help us navigate the new ways of communicating in business in this brave new world.
